The Flora Danica herbarium

The Flora Danica herbarium contains a number of specimens that were depicted in "Icones Plantarum Sponte Nascentium in Regnis Florae Daniae et Norvegiae, [...], Florae Danicae Nomine Inscriptum" (1761-1883). The material mainly consists of vascular plants from the present Danish territory, but also plants from former Danish territories are represented – together with a few lichen and bryophyte specimens.
