The herbarium of Christopher Heerfordt
The herbarium of Christopher Heerfordt from c. 1650 is bound in two volumes and contains plants from the islands of Lolland and Falster. It is the oldest known Danish herbarium deposited in Denmark (J. Burser’s herbarium from c. 1625-1635 was taken as spoils of war by the Swedes in the mid-1600s and is now kept in Uppsala, Sweden).
